Aloft Recovery can connect you with a complete, supervised drug and alcohol detox program. You will feel safe and be attended to by professional staff on site 24 hours a day.

Like all clients, you will go through a period of detox before entering more clinical treatment. Detox can last anywhere from one day to 10 days, depending on the person, the type of addiction, and the length of time the addiction has been going on. And depending on the primary substance of use, you may experience more intense withdrawal symptoms than others, such as for alcohol or opioid addictions.

At Aloft Recovery, we understand that each person is different. You might have things about yourself that you want to modify, but we don't want to change who you are. That's why at our facility, you will take part in treatment programs that are individualized. We let you be who you are and express yourself the way you want—we won't take that away from you.

Our therapists will help you hold onto your individuality while removing the harmful drug or alcohol addiction that has been bringing you down. We are here to help you focus on healing things that are out of balance without changing the positive aspects of yourself.

A big part of recovery is figuring out life after treatment.

Returning back to society after living in a safe environment, free of triggers, temptations, and negative influences can be daunting for a new person in recovery. The fear of relapse lurking just around the corner is real.

If you go back and try to live the same kind of lifestyle you did before, then you’re bound to start using again. Yet, on the flip side, if you go home and try to avoid old friendships and hangouts, your past may want to confront you.

When you live in recovery, you’ll quickly discover that what’s most important in maintaining sobriety is building a strong support system of people who know where you’re coming from and only want you to succeed.

Clients Are Guided Throughout the Entire Withdrawal Process

Withdrawal symptoms are unpleasant at best and can make you feel like they’re dying at worst. You may be afraid of going through withdrawal, which may have been part of the reason why you didn’t go through treatment initially. Our staff understands this—some may have gone through withdrawal themselves—and they’re here to support you every step of the way.

During the detox process, we’ll make sure you receive:

  • Education on addiction and withdrawal
  • Explanations on how your body will react to specific substance withdrawals
  • Daily reports on the status of your health
  • Healthy and nutritious meals
  • Sympathetic feedback to support and comfort you through detox

Most importantly, you will not be alone. Our staff is trained to guide you through the withdrawal process and make sure you get plenty of rest as you recover. Understand that the detox process will help you start rehab and recovery in a better physical condition, which will allow you to focus on therapy, the core of your addiction, and planning for a future in recovery.

Is Smoking Allowed at Aloft Recovery?

We do allow smoking during our program because we understand that withdrawing from one substance is difficult enough without having to worry about quitting smoking as well. However, if you do smoke and want to quit, we will support you in that process, too.

Partial Hospitalization Program/Intensive Outpatient Program

Our PHP/IOP programs use a lot of one-on-one therapy sessions. Some clients take part in up to two of these sessions a day. This allows us to help you get to the heart of your addiction, and help you develop the skills needed to overcome addiction. We also use group therapy at our facility, allowing you to work on relationship building and social skill development.

While we believe one-on-one counseling sessions are effective for therapy, we also believe in the importance of community and social life for healing. Our clients live with each other in an open and caring environment, where they encourage and teach each other to stay sober. We want you to see that a sober life is a positive one, so our treatment programs allow those in our community to focus on socializing in an intimate and engaging environment.

The PHP/IOP programs at Aloft Recovery are intensive programs that provide 24-hour care, seven days a week. We offer a comprehensive 45, 60, or 90-day program, which may be extended if clinically recommended.

Our treatment is aimed at the basics of arresting the addiction process, as well as establishing individualized relapse prevention strategies. We use daily groups, individual therapy, and other activities during the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

Aloft Recovery treatment programs include:

  • Psychological assessment
  • Psychiatric services
  • Meditation
  • EMDR
  • Mindfulness Therapy
  • Trauma Therapy
  • Somatic Experiencing
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
  • Individualized case management
  • Individual and group counseling
  • Addiction education
  • Medication management
  • Recovery focused exercise and group activity
  • Experiential training aimed at relapse prevention
  • Discharge planning for long-term recovery
  • Intervention

Because we believe in helping you stay true to yourself, we won't put unnecessary restrictions on you during this phase of treatment. We won't tell you not to bring money or not to smoke or have energy drinks. We want you to be comfortable, happy, and addiction-free.
