Aloft Recovery can connect you with a complete, supervised drug and alcohol detox program. You will feel safe and be attended to by professional staff on site 24 hours a day.
Like all clients, you will go through a period of detox before entering more clinical treatment. Detox can last anywhere from one day to 10 days, depending on the person, the type of addiction, and the length of time the addiction has been going on. And depending on the primary substance of use, you may experience more intense withdrawal symptoms than others, such as for alcohol or opioid addictions.
At Aloft Recovery, we understand that each person is different. You might have things about yourself that you want to modify, but we don't want to change who you are. That's why at our facility, you will take part in treatment programs that are individualized. We let you be who you are and express yourself the way you want—we won't take that away from you.
Our therapists will help you hold onto your individuality while removing the harmful drug or alcohol addiction that has been bringing you down. We are here to help you focus on healing things that are out of balance without changing the positive aspects of yourself.
A big part of recovery is figuring out life after treatment.
Returning back to society after living in a safe environment, free of triggers, temptations, and negative influences can be daunting for a new person in recovery. The fear of relapse lurking just around the corner is real.
If you go back and try to live the same kind of lifestyle you did before, then you’re bound to start using again. Yet, on the flip side, if you go home and try to avoid old friendships and hangouts, your past may want to confront you.
When you live in recovery, you’ll quickly discover that what’s most important in maintaining sobriety is building a strong support system of people who know where you’re coming from and only want you to succeed.

Withdrawal symptoms are unpleasant at best and can make you feel like they’re dying at worst. You may be afraid of going through withdrawal, which may have been part of the reason why you didn’t go through treatment initially. Our staff understands this—some may have gone through withdrawal themselves—and they’re here to support you every step of the way.
During the detox process, we’ll make sure you receive:
Most importantly, you will not be alone. Our staff is trained to guide you through the withdrawal process and make sure you get plenty of rest as you recover. Understand that the detox process will help you start rehab and recovery in a better physical condition, which will allow you to focus on therapy, the core of your addiction, and planning for a future in recovery.
We do allow smoking during our program because we understand that withdrawing from one substance is difficult enough without having to worry about quitting smoking as well. However, if you do smoke and want to quit, we will support you in that process, too.
